We are delighted to welcome Viktor Mels to the Christmas Living Artists Art Auction for the very first time. His work immediately stands out in this edition, not only for its technical skill but for its emotional atmosphere and luminous presence. Each painting feels like a moment caught between clarity and disappearance, a portrait suspended in movement, light and shadow.
Viktor describes his art as a meeting point between graffiti and contemporary portraiture. He is drawn to the tension between order and intuition, the same energy that runs through street art and expressive figurative painting. This tension gives his work a living pulse, a sense of motion that moves across the canvas in waves of colour, mist and electricity.
His portraits are almost ephemeral in execution. Figures appear through layers of spray paint, acrylic and oil, shifting between abstraction and realism. They feel like fleeting emotions, like memories forming and dissolving at the same time. Viktor uses ethereal layers of light and shadow to push the viewer beyond what is visible, inviting us to experience something instinctive and emotional.
In each painting, he strives to capture a defining moment — a glance, a mood, a breath — and he uses his technique to extend that moment into something powerful and perceptive. These works are full of energy, creative confidence and a very contemporary visual language.
This is Viktor’s debut in our auction, and art lovers are warmly invited to bid on his extraordinary works in this Christmas edition.
