Sonja Nel is an upcoming expressionist colourist from Somerset West in the Winelands near Cape Town, South Africa. She loves to paint landscapes, still life and especially her signature theme which is 'Woman with flowers'. Sonja has had two solo exhibitions in Somerset West and one in Onrus near Hermanus. She regularly exhibits together with other artists in Cape Town and Pretoria. Sonja's paintings feature in private collections in Australia, Belgium, California, Corfu, England, Ireland, Italy, Namibia, New York, Scotland, South Africa and Spain.
